About

I’m a researcher and builder working at the intersection of AI and data. My PhD at the University of Colorado focused on biodiversity informatics, and I taught at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program.

I spent five years building open source geospatial infrastructure at CARTO, followed by a couple of years pioneering on-device machine learning at Set and two years exploring personal data ownership and private social networks with Textile Photos. Today, at Recall, I’m researching new ways to evaluate AI and build economic systems where autonomous agents can earn trust, collaborate, and exchange knowledge.
